I think I need a vacation. This summer is more than half way over, and yet "summer" and "vacation"- two words that should be somewhat synonymous in my opinion- have yet to meet. Things have been so crazy! Holly called her engagement off (I Know!! So sad over this as we loved her fiance, but what can we do?), no calls on the house (still), my house is a mess and it's been rainy. My posts are so lame, sorry! Does anyone else just have "off" weeks??
Jack was so cute this morning, he kept pointing to his nose saying "nose" and pointing to his eyes saying "eyes" although he needed my help with the "eyes" part and still looks stumped when I even bring up the word "mouth". He is learning "please" and "thank you" although both require a little imagination to make out.
Jeremy and I had a baby-sitter on Friday (which we NEVER do on weekends!) so we went to 2 movies and dinner. We saw Harry Potter and Transformers. I totally felt like a 12 year old boy after typing those movies. Anyways. It was a fun night, almost forgot what a date was;)
Jeremy went and bought me the first Harry Potter on Saturday because I've never read the books. So of course that's a short read and was done quickly and am now on the second. I didn't think I would like them as they are "Fantasy" type books and I DESPISE that kind of stuff usually. (The worst is Sci-Fi movies, EWWWW, don't get me started) But the books are cute and entertaining . I think the difference is that the main characters are KIDS. Somehow that makes a difference. Anyways, still not a FREAK about the books.. I have no idea what drives people to their obsession??

Jack is so sweet! I love that age when babies learn their body parts and saying good bye.
I love your profile pic! I laughed at your 12 year old boy comment. So funny!
I enjoy the easy reads of HP. I'm not a complete HP freak, but having invested all these years to the books, I feel the need to finish it off and know the reason for the sanity. I think some folks just needs to step out of their own reality and enjoy fantasy, thus, roaming Jedi and Harry wannabes. Note: I'm not one these folks. LOL!
I hope you find your summer and enjoy it!
Post correction: I meant "insanity" of HP. Darn blogspot with no edit button!!
I hope next week is better! This has been the busiest, longest summer of my life, and there's still a month left. That's rad you got so much mileage out of your sitter.
hope your week turns around. have fun reading. lol.
I totally have off weeks. It seems like I have 1 off week, for every 2 good weeks. I hate feeling like I can never get on top of things! I can't believe no one has looked at your house. How frustrating!
Way to jump on the HP bandwagon. It's about TIME!! :)
I hope your week gets better. You are one busy, busy lady!
MY daughter emily read the book in a few days . She loved it.
Email me you home address
I started reading HP 1 while on a family vacation last month. I just finished HP 7 yesterday.
I must say that I enjoyed the books more once I got to the ones that I hadn't seen the movie of.
I haven't seen the newest HP movie, so I stared REALLY enjoying the series on book 5. The movies follow the books so completely, reading 1-4 is like watching the movie, but slower. Well, on all but book #4. That is the first book where there is a small story line that was left out of the movie.
Anyway, just wanted to point out that the books get better once you haven't seen the movie for them :)
Oh, and I feel your house selling pain. We had our home on the market from July-March of last year. But don't worry, I'm sure the market is much better where you are!
