We had such a great time this year up at the cabin with the family. Jeremy's parents came up as well and we ate, fished, 4 wheeled and relaxed. The weather was beautiful (4th of July tradition) and everything around us was even more beautiful.
I woke up the morning of the 4th to get started on the boys shirts (slave to the machine). Someday they will not let me dress them at all (let alone in matching shirts) so I'm taking full advantage while I can. Plus, I'm hoping that someday they will be grateful when I make them a quilt with all of these commemorative shirts I've made throughout the years.
I felt especially grateful for the men and women who fight everyday to make this country what it is. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have been born in such a great country and to a great family.
Hope everyone had a great 4th! Isn't America the best!!?

wow great shirts! :)
Your boys just get cuter everyday. And yeah, America is the best! Looked like the perfect way to spend the weekend.
Sounds like a great 4th, Laura. :) I LOVE that idea of the t-shirt quilt...I should save more of these instead of giving them away so quickly (you smart cookie).
Awesome shirts! And you're so right, one day they won't want to match :)
