Soup

It's a soup day. It looks freezing outside, although I couldn't verify the truth in that since I haven't been outside all day. I'm making homemade chicken noodle soup (I had to throw the homemade in there because even if something is frozen, canned or ordered in, I say that's what I'm "making";)) Soup's such a great way to get veggies in, something we have a huge problem getting into our diets since Jeremy doesn't really eat them and , unless very cleverly disguised, neither does Jack. Don't get me wrong... he loves to use a carrot stick to lick ranch dressing off of or a broccoli spear to eat the cheese off of. Yeah, I've tried all that.
Last night on the drive home from work traffic was all backed AGAIN.. it seems to be happening all the time lately. I was getting a little annoyed..wondering why people can't drive etc.. when I come up to the accident only to recognize the champagne colored Focus that was involved (luckily, not much damage to it so I knew there was no major injury). I looked for Holly in the manner of the worst rubber-necker ever, but couldn't see her. I immediately called her cell phone and told her voicemail that I had seen a car just like hers involved in an accident and I was just wondering if it was her. She called right back.. "It's me."
Thankfully, no one was hurt.. except maybe her little Ford Focus, but she was just waiting for the car to die anyway. How scary though.. that's always my worst nightmare is that I'll recognize the vehicles when I pass an accident.
I need to take some pics.. I know Becky's going to get on my case, I haven't even lifted my camara up for a week.
This Saturday I'm going to Bachelorette party. They are starting the night off with sushi (greeeeat) and then going to a $60 cooking class learning how to make none other than... sushi. So, yeah, I'm going. Sooooo do not love sushi or fish or anything that has ever lived in any form of water.. but I love my friend so I'm going for her. Mica, maybe I can use this class to make you a special dinner someday;)
I also need to bring a dessert (was thinking german chocolate cheesecake, but don't know if I'm ambitous enough yet) and sparkling apple cider.
Saturday morning, we have to go to the Primary program practice in the chapel, so that's going to be a blast.. especially since we'll have Jack on our laps as well. I can't wait.

The soup does sound very good today. It also helps that that is one of the only foods I can eat right now. I am so glad Holly is allright I would hate to have been in your shoes. Cody is going to have his Primary program this weekend also.

I am so not a sushi fan! Well, I have actually never even tried it... but I am sure it is equally disgusting as everything else pulled out of the sea...and that stuff is cooked! Kaden always gets so mad at me for saying that I don't like stuff before I even try it...which my response is..Well I don't have to try eating poop to know that I don't like that! Shuts him up fast!
Hope everything is OK with Holly!

I didn't know you were moving too - out of state or upgrading???? Inquiring minds want to know. Have a great weekend!
