On Saturday, we listened to the first session of conference and then had to leave to my little brother's football game. We get BYU radio on our Dish network so we can DVR it, but I hate that we never know who's talking! (Apparently, general authorities don't feel the need to state the ubiquitous "For those of you who don't know me, my name is.." ) Still better than going to the Stake center! It was Cody's championship game (they lost- darn't!) but it was fun.
It was FREEZING outside! We packed hot chocolate, blankets and winter gear. It helped some but not enough from keeping me from wanting to pour boiling water in a bath and never come out. I'm really going to have to toughen up, I always have an adjustment period every year at this time.
Jack didn't seem to mind the cold and ran and played the whole time-- even stealing the teams football at half-time.
On Sunday we watched both sessions from home and then went out to Jeremy's parents for Sunday dinner (1st Sunday). We celebrated Aunt Tina's birthday and Jack's cousin Bryce's birthday who is just 7 weeks older than Jack and is his best buddy.
It was SUCH a nice weekend and so nice to stay HOME from church now and then, haha!! Can't beat church in PJs!

Hey, I just feel the need to tell you that here at 5500 ft above sea level it is just as cold. Its amazing that between St. George and Cedar that the temperatures are so extremely different. The Pictures on my blog are deceiving...we have all thrown our coats off and over to the side..if you look closely at Lauren's nose you can see that it is totally red! We had a storm move through here last week and we even had snow! (just little flurries but still snow!) This week it is back at 75...WACKY!!!
I swear Jack gets cuter in every picture I see of him!
BTW-the jeans in my photo were Modbe.
Jack looks so cute all bundled up. :) I can't believe how cold it is there already. We came inside this afternoon because it was too hot. Yes, church in your PJ's ROCKS.
What! Oh, how I miss the cold!! Jack looks like he doesn't mind it at all!! :)
So true about the speakers not recognizing themselves. I suppose there are folks who CAN recognize them by their voices? Just not us huh?
Another great weekend in Alaska! You're a busy family. :)
JAck looks so cute!!
But on my girl 23 is so COLD!!!!!!!
I would be dying in that kind of weather. Once I get a chill, I can't come out of it.
Jack looks so cute with that football! He is such a cutie. :)
I am not jealous of the cold in Alaska, but I sure am jealous of the beauty!
